Miss to Mrs: Wedding Day Essentials
It's the Weekend!! I am not going to lie, this weekend is being greeted with open arms because this past week has been a rough one! I am ready for a change and a good one! Besides all of that I have been working on this post all week and it is finally ready to be shared with you guys. As the title tells you, this weeks blog is about the “Wedding Day Essentials” Bridal Box from Miss to Mrs. subscription and I have to tell you that getting this box has made me even more giddy inside! We are 5 weeks and 6 days away from the WEDDING! That means that the timing of this box is perfect, just in time for me to begin making a last minute list. So without further delay lets talk about the beautiful WEDDING DAY products I got in my August Bridal Box!
TEMPORARY CAR DECAL:
I wanted to start with this delicate cursive “JUST MARRIED” decal because I fell in love! I LOVE ATTENTION! (if you did not know) So when I saw this I was more than excited to add this to the “get away” car for the Wedding night. We are using Brandon’s car for this Wedding Day tradition and I have been nervous from the beginning to ask to have any kind of chalk pen or decal be put on his car because he is just overly-protective! Fortunately it all worked out and he does not mind a bit (at least from what he tells me) so we will be adding this to the back windshield as well as our names and date with the Chalk Marker! YAY!
DANCING FLATS:
These are pretty much a must! I have yet to have a chance to take the time and wear them around for a few hours as to see if they are comfortable or not (size and fit very, especially with my small feet) These shiny gold flats are definitely a maybe to act as my dancing shoes, but I do know for sure that I will be bringing some kind of flats to wear after the ceremony and the beginning part of the reception! These specific pair of flats are foldable and very easy to transport and pack. I do not want my feet killing me during my Big Day, I want to be completely surrounded by fun and love, not worrying about my feet getting blistered! So this is definitely a Wedding Day must have!
SILKY SATIN SLEEPING MASK:
This item has amazing quality! I could tell before even taking it out of the package. The mask is very thick and soft as to ward the bright lights from seeping into your eyes. The band is adjustable to give you the perfect fit for around your head and the MRS. in gold and cursive just adds that extra elegant touch that I appreciate so much. To be completely transparent with you guys, I will probably not use this item, at least not very often because I have never liked sleeping in a mask. It was always uncomfortable to me… but that does not mean that I can’t/won’t use it for other purposes! (insert winky face here lol)
LACE GARTER SET:
The packaging on this Garter Set is to die for! Boxed in a clean white square with a large window, rose gold writing around the edges, and a shiny gold background! Literally everything is so beautiful, although I will not be including this set in my Wedding Day because I have ordered a custom one off of Etsy. I have options to keep the set as a memory, set it out somewhere as a Wedding Décor section, give it away/gift it, or even sell it (probably will not do that) I have even considered using one of them as the “garter” for my new HUSBAND to toss, just because it is more generic and I would rather keep the personalized set. (I do not know yet, DECISIONS, DECISIONS!) OH! Just because I state that they are a little more plain does not mean that I do not like/appreciate them because I definitely do! I am just more of a sentimental person especially when it comes to things like this, so that is why I prefer to go for a custom made garter.
HEEL PROTECTORS:
These little clear plastic pieces may have saved my life! I have heard so many Brides say to get these, but I never really understood/knew what they were really for until I got these in my Bridal Box! I am wearing my “Something Old” as my heels (They are from my senior prom) and they have a skinny heel so these studs are for sure going to help me from sinking into the dirt while taking photos, prevent me from ripping holes in the Isle Runner, and save me from breaking my neck and twisting my ankle! I have already placed this small package in with the start of my emergency kit! I CANNOT WAIT!
ACRYLIC “CARDS & GIFTS” SIGN:
The alluring clear acrylic sign fits perfect into any simple and elegant event! (well any event, those adjectives describes the event that I picture seeing this sign at) Which describes the type of event that I am attracted to and describes my style. Although AGAIN I will not be using this beautiful piece because I already have an Acrylic “Cards & Gifts” sign that came in a set so I just want to stick with what matches for the overall look of the décor. But I will either keep this sign or give it to someone who needs it.
VOW BOOKS:
YES! If you know me, you know that I like to stay as organized as possible especially for special events like this so having a little booklet to keep all of the romantic thoughts and drafts of the very IMPORTANT VOWS organized and in one place gives me so much satisfaction! I believe that the only problem that Brandon and I may run into is the fact that the simple and pretty booklet does not have lined paper. I am not very good at keeping my lines straight, so hopefully it will all work out, but I am beyond excited to use these beauties as a way to write down the love I have for my soon to be HUSBAND!
We have come to the end of this months Miss to Mrs. Bridal Box! I am OOOBSSEEESSSTED with the WEDDING themed items that I got! It has definitely made me think about what else I am going to need the day of and what I still need to pack for my emergency kit, but I would not have it any other way.
