Hey Friends! My name is Shayna Nicole Gunn-Crosson. I know that is a mouth full. If you are wondering about the above statement, well I am here to tell you about it. The saying , "everything happens for a reason” is a lifestyle that I have believed in and chosen to live by for as long as I can remember. It has gotten me through some very tough situations and also helped me give sound advice to friends and family. I wanted to start off by saying this because it is a part of who I am at my core. This and mainly God helped me find my handsome Husband Brandon, you will read a lot about him in the pages of this Blog; and my passion for reading and writing and the intriguing World that I hope to one day see.
Growing up I always felt like the odd man out (that may have had something to do with my petite stature and 4’11 self), now I feel as if I have found my calling. Writing. This and reading have always been my form of escaping my life and the world. I remember sitting on a swing on my childhood front porch and reading a good book for hours on end. I am also a big over sharer, naturally a Blog became the perfect fit for me. With that said I want to share a little more about me. I am a newleywed with the love of my life, a new homeowner in South Georgia, and a Banker; which is odd because I despise math. I am only 22 years old, but have a love for classic and older music. My favorite band is the Bee Gees and I am obbsessed with slow music from the 50’s and 60’s. I grew up listening to a lot of 80’s with my Dad, so you can catch me singing along to that as well. I prefer drama and romance over action and corny comedy, but horror has been included in my cinematic pleasures since the age of 6. My favorite book is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickenson. I read this my senior year of High School in my AP Lit class and immediately fell in love. The plot is so riveting and tells the most powerful story. As of now I am living a chaotic but fun life with the man I love and our fur babies. I try to counteract the crazy days with how much I love organizing! I cannot stand when something is in dissaray, it makes me feel as if I am spinning, which leads me into my planning necessities. I planned my entire wedding myself and some have said I should become a Wedding Planner! I really did love the entire process and may pursue that one day! I told you I am an over sharer! If you want to learn more about me and this messy, yet organized life I live check out my Blog pages and YouTube Channel. See you there!
