Happy Thanksgiving: A year of Change!

On this Eve of Thanksgiving I have been doing a lot of thinking. This year has definitely been an interesting one, with COVID-19 hitting directly in the midst of planning my Wedding, spending my 21st Birthday in quarantine, facing job obstacles and new policies, and one of the hardest… adjusting to life in a MASK!

I will say that this year has brought me more joy than heartache, which is more than I can say for most others. Which is why in the midst of a still ongoing Pandemic it is imperative to remind yourself of the things that you still do have. To find Joy in the little things and to find peace in the inevitable short coming this year has brought. Thankfully myself and my family have not been directly hit in a negative way by the sickness that befell us this year. Not to say we did not struggle with the happenings around us, we owe all our thanks to God for sparing us during this tragic time. My heart and prayers still go out to those in pain and suffering for what this year has brought upon you and hope and know that it will get better!

I have seen the things this virus, selfish people, and destructive souls can do to this world, not to say I cannot be selfish sometimes, because God knows I am! This year I challenge you to try and be a better person than you were yesterday. This Thanksgiving be completely and truly openly (NOT BRUTALLY) honest with yourself and others. Make a change in this world that I know we all can! Show kindness and compassion to a stanger, say HI to an old friend, make amends with an enemy. The list can go on, choose whichever fits into your life story.

I do not like politics! And this year has been all about it! A split focus on the Elections and the Virus, which is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as you are consuming a healthy amount of both. (Information wise) Everyone does not have the same views as the other, but that does not mean you cannot agree to disagree and move on with your life. That is all I am saying about that!

This year has been filled with nothing but change, so turn that change into something good! Into something productive, something healthy and lasting! Below I have made a list of things I am so happy and grateful and Thankful for! I ask you to do the same! Let’s end 2020 on a good note people! Our lives and our world has changed drastically this year… let’s just make sure that when it is all said and done… it CHANGED FOR THE BETTER!
