Decorate for FALL with me!

You guys! I cannot believe we are already halfway through September! I am getting married in less than a month!! Like WWAAA?! But I am getting ahead of myself, we are in one of my favorite seasons of the year… FALL! Bringing in my favorite Holiday… HALLOWEEN! I am ready to show off some cute and cozy fall clothes, have the sweet aroma of cinnamon flowing through my home, and of course it is time for my PUMPKIN obsessions!

Take a look at my video while you decorate your home for this spooky season! Keep scrolling and check out what I finally settled on for this years Fall Decor set-up!

I want to start with my entryway. Here I have a three tiered ceramic pumpkin. The ashy colors and intricate carvings made this peice one of my favorites. Next I have three plastic pumpkins that have been apart of mine and Brandons Fall Season since 2018. Each orange pumpkin has a glitter letter and a film that allows the electronic candle inside to illuminate through. B & S Initial pumkins will be a staple decor item for Fall seasons, probably forever!

I wanted to incorporate not only Fall but the Halloween season as well. (It happens to be my favorite Holiday) This purple glittery Happy Halloween sign made it into our home last year and has made its way back to my decorations list for the 2020 season. On the subject of last year decorations, the wire pumpkin and ghost had a simple impression on me. The Target dollar spot was particularly helpful last year whilst I was shopping for my first Fall season in my own home.

Moving further into my house we enter the kitchen where I have a grey ceramic cake stand holding one of my favorite Fall candles, Cinnamon Pumpkin from Bath and Bodyworks. Also from Bath and Bodyworks is the magnetic white sparkle Pumpkin sitting on top of the delicious smelling candle. Having magnetized decor items have actually been a helpful addition because I have 2 nosey cats that love to get into everything, with the magnet holding the Pumpkin it is more difficult for them to play with it and therefore leave it alone.

The wooden black and white Pumpkin is another favorite of mine. (Can you tell I love Pumpkins?) I believe that it is from the Christmas Tree Store. Lastly I paired another little plush grey Pumpkin that is also magnetic and from the same amazing aroma filled store.

Also apart of my kitchen is the long bar top peninsula. (We also use the outward side as our dining room) Against the wall I have my two tiered wood and metal stand from target that has come in handy for this seasons decoration process.

The top tier includes a minie “Fall” wooden box sign and I have added a small Styrofoam orange glitter pumpkin from an accent bowl pack as well as a silver glitter battery powered candle to add more depth to the 4 walled box. In the right side of this I placed a tall pastel purple pumpkin with a metal leaf attached. This and the ceramic pastel purple pumpkin to the left of it are both from the Christmas Tree store. The two items are new additions to this year’s decor. The last thing I added to this top story is a beautiful candle housed in a metal can that brings the whole picture together. This candle is from one of my Miss to Mrs boxes. I wanted to incorporate the tall to short aspect into this area and I am very happy that I was able to pull it off.

The bottom tier I was able to add a little bit of the spooky season aspect with this R.I.P. minnie headstone from last years Hobby Lobby stock. Although I still kept up with the lightened Fall aspect with my two Styrofoam pumpkins. I was able to snag two different shades of purple from the Christmas Tree store and added a candle with a wooden lid from target.

I love the finished product!

In the middle of the bar I have a wooden bowl from Walmart that I snagged last year and filled it with accent pumpkins that I accumulated last year from various stores. This pumkin filled bowl is actually something that I did in last years Fall venture and loved it so much that I wanted to continue it into this year.

Most eyes turn to this section of my home because it is literally in the middle of the homes layout. I have two cubicle shelves pushed together which house books, nicknacs, games, and other items oragized into bins. Laying over the top surface of the shelves is a grayish cloth that is supposed to allow the creep factor to rise. I then began adding my decor items. Last year this section of my home was pretty cluttered, this year I wanted to down play that look with just a few accent items. My two gray washed candleholders are supporting deformed black wax candles with white spiders carved into them. (They used to be upright and regular candles, but I did not heed my mothers warning to not leave them in a hot attic all year and they melted lol. I decided to keep them because I thought it looked completely different and cool for spooky season.) In the middle I just placed a black and white Happy Halloween sign and below it I have my letter sign that spells out “Pick your poison” in reference too the tray below it that has the purple and black glass bottles with labels insinuating that a potion is inside. (There used to be a green bottle, but it fell off of the counter and shattered!) Also on this tray are 3 ceramic candle cups that have a cut out Jack O' Lantern face. Inside these Halloween themed cups are the same battery powered candles that I had on display on the top tier of my stand. Behind this display I have two smaller white candleholders on either side of my letter sign. On top of both ceramic bases are three battery powered candles. Two are taller, one of which is orange and the other black, I then have a small fixture in the middle. (Also the same candles in the other holders.) I made this look last year, but had them placed in other areas of my homes main living space. The photos are home decor items I had placed there before and decided to leave.

In the same cubicle shelves I have a dedicated cube to the top left for this seasons decor. I did this same look last year and loved how it looked, so naturally I wanted to do it again. The three book set I purchased from Hobby Lobby last year and of course I have the same candle holder and tired battery candles here.

Moving into the far end of my living room, near the backdoor, I have a circular wooden table that my Grandfather made for me and on the surface of the beautiful table I have another wooden box from The Christmas Tree store. I bought this black and white Fall sign last year and added an orange glitter pumpkin as an accent piece for some color. This item happens to be another magnetic pumpkin from Bath and Bodyworks. Their stock last year was my favorite!

Below the table, sitting on my fireplaces footboard is a wooden box with the barn door X carved into it. I bought this jewel from the Christmas Tree Store with the featured idea in mind. I added a black and white checkered table runner on the inside to support the pumpkins held on top. I let one end hang out for more depth and then added a larger diamond fabricated pumpkin to the back, a middle sized one in the front and two smaller ones on top. I already owned the 3 pumpkins to the right and I purchased the one to the left from Christmas Tree store last week.

On the other side of my Fireplace bottom are two vases with Halloween themed sparkle fillers from Hobby Lobbys 2019 stock. I then placed an insert into each vase, one has a purple, black, and orange vine with spiders dangling from the branches. The other has a shorter element being a pair of witches legs wearing striped leggings and the notorious whitch shoes! I added these pieces in my decoration process last year, but in a slightly larger way. (I had candles that go into the vases, but they also melted and no longer fit inside the glass containers.)

Looking directly above this you will find a candlestick with a pumpkin head and a witches hat! I love love love this Halloween item! I purchased two of them from Hobby Lobby last year and are using them in the same way as I did for the previous creepy season. Next to this I have the same ceramic candleholder that is placed in my cubicle shelves, the difference is that it is black. These holders are also from Hobby Lobbys 2019 season. The next Happy Halloween sign I think fits perfectly in this section because of the color scheme that is happening.

On the other end of the Fireplace mantel is the same Candlestick with a pumpkin head, but this time I have added another rock tombstone and a wired black cat. I wanted something a little more simple on this side because I did not want to over do it.

Directly in the middle I have a huge purple BOO sign from Target. This is also from last year, please ignore the white button in front of the O I still have not removed that lol. This light up sign has three different settings for the highlighted purple strip in each letter. From stand still, to flashing, to super flashing!

This is the completed view of the fireplace! I have a black sheer spiderweb mantel runner to cover the light wood and give it a more Halloween vibe! I am so proud with how this staple section in my home turned out.

To the right of the fireplace I have another cubicle shelf that usually has our radio and speaker. Of course during the holiday seasons more is added! On the right I have three more connected books, but these are from Christmas Tree store in their 2019 stock. Next to that is a battery powered light up orange pumpkin and then a flippable block sign with the word “eek" on one side and “boo" on the other. This item is from Hobby Lobbys 2019 Halloween stock. To the right I have two more rock tombstone which have different creepy sayings on them. Next to it is another battery powered light up figurine, but in the shape of a cat. It was a gift so sadly I do not know where it is from. I then added the last wire piece that I had which turned out to be a whitches hat. Lastly I have another candle stand with the same tiered assortment. Something not included in the Fall theme is my Wedding Day countdown, but that will not be put away!

Moving into the main living area we have my Entertainment console and on it I lined some of my favorite accent pumpkins. The lavender colored one at the front is new and from Christmas Tree store, the other two came out of last year’s storage and have a perfect place here.

The last section of my living room is the coffee table decor. Here I have my console holder with two more tombstones with more spooky statements next to which is another Halloween scented candle from Bath and Bodyworks. I love the display paper around the container, it makes for a great scene for this season. Of course I have a magnetic pumpkin on top and a tiered Styrofoam pumpkin with different faces on the side. Both are from the same smell good store!

processed_20200908_144407.jpg

The last room that I did is the master bedroom. I only did one thing in here and that is place a wooden pumpkin with the words “Just Married” painted on it. When I saw this at the Christmas Tree store I had to have it! Anything Wedding has my eye and to top it off it is in the shape of one of my favorite things!
